Good pizza. Crust is amazing! The salads are wayyyyy overpriced, though! They are pretty quick when you order for carry out. Would recommend.

Antipasto salad was full and plenty with meat, peppers, cheese, olives and tomatoes but the ranch dressing left it lacking. It's a deli place but I expect homemade buttermilk and I got hidden valley ranch. The pizza was okay. Not the worst I've had not the best. Dough and crust were good. The pizza needed more sauce and more flavor. Without Parmesan cheese it was lacking in flavor. This place could have top notch pizza if they just added some flavor and sauce. Overall good but not great. For this town it's a good place to go.

Undercooked pizza. ...dough tasted okay. ..every restaurant in town was packed and we need to eat. So this ended up being the choice. Underwhelming to say the least. It's located within a grocery store. That was kind of weird too. They can do much better. If they do next time they will get a better review for me.

Pizza was good, salad was small and overpriced. All in all I would get a pizza for carryout, but never eat there again. The fact that they have places to sit but no restroom is a complete joke.

I'll give this restaurant a measly two stars for nice staff. The food was not tasty at all. The pizza had little sauce and the breadsticks have no sauce. It's like eating buttery butter a top of bread. There was no acid and no zip. Additionally, they refused to allow us to use the facilities. It is my understanding that in the state of Michigan it's against the law for a sit down restaurant establishment (this place had several tables and chairs) not to have restroom facilities. I went across the street to a much nicer, more enjoyable coffee establishment. All and all, I would recommend eating somewhere else in town!

Considering the small town and surrounding options, Bear Paw Pizza was great. This place is totally cafe-like. I don't know if I've been to another place like this, which is half general store and half cafe/restaurant. You order your food at the counter and they make it for you and bring it to you table. You sort of help yourself to your own drinks and other snacks sort of from the grocery side of the joint. You pay as you walk out at a cashier - declaring everything you had. You don't see that in the big cities. :-) Everyone here was really nice and the whole experience was enjoyable.

Well the guy making the pizzas wasn't wearing gloves which was sort of gross. The pizza wasn't spectacular, but it wasn't bad either. Good place to pick up a pie and take back to your cottage / hotel.

Average pizza. This was a good option for us on our quick trip to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Good pizza, ok pricing. You can also grab a beer as the pizza kitchen is co-located with a general shop which sold beer and wine. Not many options in Glen Arbor and this one is a safe bet.

Great pizza. Lots of cheese and the meat lover pizza is full of yummy ham, sausage, etc. Great cheesy paw bread. Full, fresh salads. Nice selection of dressings, a must when in glen arbor at The Homestead.

Enjoyed eating outside on the picnic tables and relieved to see they had a parking lot, but disappointed to find out that it was a 45 minute wait for a pizza (although slices are sold on the spot) and non of the alcohol for purchase can be drank on the premises. Prices are a bit up there... close to $30 for the equivalent of a large pizza.

Their pizza wasn't remarkable but wasn't bad either. Their crust is too large and would be better if they filled it with cheese or made it smaller. They have a great beer selection although you can't drink it on premises, which is a big let down. The staff if young and friendly. We ordered a few carry out pizzas from this place, and it's not bad if you need a quick bite to eat.

Horrible service. Bad selection. High prices. I'm not too concerned with the selection or prices but the service has been consistently horrible the entire week we visited glen arbor. All the shops on this cute town are 100% better. So sad if you stop by and assume the rest of the cute town is as rude and no friendly as this establishment.

Decent pizza and sandwiches, but I mostly come in here as they are right across the street from Art's, stay open later than any other store in town, and sell cigarettes. Super friendly staff, odd assortment of goods from bread to booze to local papers. Not quite a pizza parlor, not quite a convenience store, but I'm certainly glad they are there.

Awesome food. THE FOOD The pizza is pretty darn good, way better than Jolly Pumpkin. But you absolutely must have the Italian sub, on a Ciabatta roll. This maybe the best sub I have ever had....period. Cheap prices too. THE SERVICE Very friendly and laid back. THE ATMOSPHERE Laid back cabin, with a food counter, a few seats and small grocery area. An excellent resource for families and budget savvy travelers.

Hoping for some good pizza given the reviews. Unfortunately it's not New Haven Pizza, but it's as good as (maybe better than Poppa Johns & better than Pizza Hut). The crust was about 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick & a bit chewy, but very tasty & edible. The sauce seemed a bit canned, but it was good. We ordered the following four large pizzas for nine people & had plenty. * Mushroom, Onion (we had also hoped for fresh garlic, but they didn't have it) * Hawaiian (pineapple & Canadian bacon) * Sausage +mushroom+black olives+fresh onion, & fresh tomato (the fresh tomato was diced, but seemed OK & the sausage was not what you'd expect if you like 'Italian Sausage') * Pepperoni Everyone seemed happy & would order from here again.

The Hula Bear pizza (Hawaiian style) was delicious and I'm from Chicago so I've had a pizza or two....hundred. Crust was buttery without being greasy, and everything tasted fresh. Staff was friendly and everything was fast. Docked a star because no alcohol consumption on premises and not much of a seating area.

Another great find in this town! We ordered the basil pesto pizza, peanut butter and jelly and a standard pepperoni pizza. The crust is superb, they sprinkle parmesan cheese on it (except for the sweet pizza). Great place to go pick up a couple of pies and head back to the beach for dinner.

Really? $20+ for a carry-out two topping pizza seems a bit much. No bathrooms? You're a restaurant for crying out loud, or at least you pretend to be.

This little gem is hidden within a store amongst the more expensive restaurants in town. You can not only eat some of the best pizza not located in a major city and tasty subs, but all of your beverage choices are there as well. I am not kidding, the pizza is the quality you will find in a large city from a independent pizzeria and not a chain store pizza. at the same cost you would find at an in town joint.

Surprisingly great pizza and subs considering that this place is a pretty innocuously looking joint on a small town "main street" in upper Michigan state. Was staying at the nearby Homestead Resort a few miles up the road and had maybe the best slice of pizza i've had in some time. certainly better than one would expect to get "in the sticks". particularly remarkable was the light and crispy crust. the subs are good too, but a bit pricey for my taste ($8.50 for the average combo sub). worth a visit if you find yourself in these parts.
